AG assists Svensk Kärnbränslehantering AB regarding the final disposal of nuclear fuel
Svensk Kärnbränslehantering AB (SKB) is owned by the Swedish nuclear power industry and is responsible for its mission for final disposal of spent nuclear fuel and radioactive waste from Swedish nuclear power plants. To dispose of the spent nuclear fuel, SKB plans to construct an encapsulation plant in Oskarshamn and a final repository underground in Forsmark.
These are technically complex nuclear facilities, currently under license testing, to be planned in the next few years. The project work is divided into various assignments and is to be carried out by both Swedish and foreign consultants.
AG Advokat – with Håkan Bjerle as responsible partner – has assisted SKB as regards the work of contracts.
